Foodscape Gone Wild!!!

What's up Everyone?? Today I made a short video of what it looks like when a perfectly manicured #foodscape has gone wild!

Foodscapes, at least in our definition, are edible gardens that are presentable as manicured landscapes that could even fit in HOA properties. In contrast, Food Forests are edible landscapes meant to be wild because they include several different layers that thrive on neglect. Foodscapes are meant to replicate ornamental landscapes but replace ornamental plants with those that provide food. While there are many landscape designs that can successfully do this.... there is always a chance that they will explode with growth that may need to be tamed.

That is the case with the area on our property that we try and keep looking like a foodscape and not a food forest. Watch the video below as I talk about some of the plants that can contribute to a foodscape getting too wild.
