Fun Fact Friday - Lemongrass

Happy Friday! Let's get ready for the weekend with this week's #FunFactFriday

Today I talk about lemongrass and how I naively planted it to repel insects. Even though it contains citronella in the leaves, it only works when the leaves are broken or the oil is harvested. I thought the plant repelled mosquitos just by existing. Wouldn't be the first time I planted something without knowing more about it.

Hope you don't make the same mistake of thinking you could plant it and forget it.
