Fun Fact Ragweed

Annual or Common Ragweed, Ambrosia artemisiifolia. No, this is not the same ragweed in songs sung by Koe Wetzel and the band that even has the word in their name - Cross Canadian Ragweed. Annual ragweed is far from the plant it slang for. Instead, annual ragweed is referring to one of many species in the Ambrosia genus that contains all ragweeds.

This plant has a wide distribution in the USA and has become invasive in other countries.
