Revealed!! What is it Wednesday August 30, 2023

This week's "What is it Wednesday" was Beebalm aka Spotted Horsemint or Monarda punctata. This native plant is exploding with these unique blooms right now. Since it has this late summer into fall blooming period, it is great for adding color when other plants are losing steam. PLUS the pollinators love it.

This week's winner was an Instagram follower. She elected to have her winnings donated to the Florida Native Plant Society. How cool is that?
