Everglades tomato is the ONLY tomato we grow in our own foodscape. It is so easy. One plant can yield 100 cherry sized tomatoes and it is the only tomatoe that is care free even in the heat of summer. At one time people thought this plant was native to Florida. Recent research shows that it is likely native to South America and was naturalized in South Florida long ago.
