Florida Privet, also called Swampprivet, is a long-lived perennial shrub that can grow anywhere from 5-15 ft tall and 5-10 ft wide. It is deciduous, so expect leaf drop in the winter. Unique flowers will begin in the early spring followed by dark olive-like berries. These berries are not edible for humans, but wildlife seems to enjoy them. 
 
Florida Privet is an easy to grow bush. It can be pruned to a desired height or shape. Use it as a hedge, a border plant, or speciment plant. 
 
This plant requires a pollinator in order to fruit. You will want two of these if you don't already have one or have naturally occuring privet nearby. 
 
Native to southeastern U.S. along coastal areas
Natural range in FL is south FL and coastal areas through north FL excluding the panhandle.

Prefers soils that are usually moist but well draining but can handle short droughts

Any damaged packages, damaged plants, dead plants or irregular shipping patterns should be claimed through the USPS insurance claims system.
