Wild Petunia is a perennial FL native wildflower that has beautiful light purple flowers. We encourage all Florida landscapers and gardeners to please choose this plant over the invasive Ruellia simplex Mexican Petunia. Wild Petunia is a great add to your landscape and is the host plant for the Common Buckeye and White Peacock butterflies. It blooms best in full sun but does well in almost all light conditions. Prefers a range of soil types from moist to tolerating periods of dry soils.
