TOGO Cassava is one of our favorite Cassava varieties. In some areas of the world this plant is called Yuca. It only takes 180 days from transplant to harvest.
Cassava is a tall growing plant that can reach 5-6 feet tall. But the treasure lies beneath the soil. Cassava is an edible tuber that is a staple in Central America, South America, and many parts of Africa.
It is an easy to grow plant in almost any condition. TOGO will be ready for harvest in as little as 180 days. Once harvested, make sure that you cook the tubers to avoid any toxicity. Most sources suggest boiling for a minimum of 20 mintutes. DO NOT EAT RAW. Tubers must be throughly cooked, often boiled.
